The project is located at 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. This prequalification process is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process; the second phase is the tendering process. During the Tendering Phase, the prequalified Proponents will be invited to prepare and to submit stipulated price tenders for this work. The successful Proponent will be required to enter into a Stipulated Price (or Unit Price based on SOW) Subcontract with the CM. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document sets out the requirements for the submission of the Proponents Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and specifies the evaluation criteria and Proponent selection process for this phase. The Scope of Services of this prequalification package is for the Heritage Marble Restoration and Conservation for various heritage marble assets, previously located within the Centre Block building. As part of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, we require a Subcontractor(s) who possesses the skills, experience and knowledge of the careful handling, restoration, and reinstallation of heritage marble. Proponents, please note all reinstatement work must be performed by union workers.
