Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rupert, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Bids will be received for a single contract on a unit price basis. The project consists of installing sidewalks on 18th street, along the Big Valley Recreational Complex connecting to the sidewalks to the east and west, and H street from Woodland Street to the southern exit of East Minico Middle School and a signalized pedestrian flasher at the crosswalk on H street. Additional project elements include upgrading current ADA standards for ramps, crosswalks, and driveway approaches and includes curb and gutter. No Bid, Performance, or Payment bond will be required for this project. Idaho requirements for public works contracting will apply. Prevailing wage rates are not required. Award of the contract will be contingent upon compliance with Idaho public works contracting requirements, bid requirements, and available project funding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids as set forth above. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
