Borough of West York, York County, PA, requests sealed bids for the collection of municipal waste within the Borough. Bids must be expressed in various alternatives as stated in the Specifications and as set forth on the Contractor's Bid Proposal. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond with corporate surety in the amount of 10% of the contract price for 1 year weekly pick up and payable to West York Borough. The successful Contractor will be required to post a performance bond in the amount equal to the pro-rated contract for the first year within 10 days after the award has been made by West York Borough Council, which performance bond must be renewed on an annual basis The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids and may require the right and to waive any technical defects in bid documents.
