All questions will be answered and all addendums will be sent no later than noon on the Tuesday before the letting. f a Contractor is unable to attend the pre-bid conference for any reason beyond the Contractors control, notify the Kansas Department of Transportation, Bureau of Construction and Materials (telephone number 785-296-3576) or the District Construction Engineer in which the project is located prior to the pre-bid conference. If KDOT agrees that the Contractors reason for not attending is beyond the Contractors control, the Contractor is excused from attending the scheduled pre-bid conference. However, immediately arrange for another pre-bid meeting with the District Construction Engineer at the District Office to: sign the attendance sheet; and discuss the minutes of the initial pre-bid conference.
