Site work and renovation of a civil project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to 1. Disassembly and removal of existing head and idler shafts, primary and secondary drive sprockets, collector chains, flight boards and miscellaneous related sludge collection equipment from lower level of Treatment Basin No. 3 (2024), No. 4 (2025), and No. 2 (2026). 2. Handling and storage of all salvaged materials in staging area(s) shown on Plans. 3. Reinstallation of new or refurbished sludge collection equipment provided by the Owner including shafts, sprockets, collector chains, flight boards and miscellaneous equipment and attachments. 4. Installation of new electric motors and gearboxes and rebuilding of existing drive system for sludge collection equipment. 5. Alignment and adjustment of assembled equipment as necessary to achieve proper function. 6. Demolition of existing process water piping and appurtenances and installation of new process water system. 7. Removal and proper disposal of all unused equipment and materials from the Project site. 8. Alternate: Install owner-supplied piping and furnish and install inside valves, and appurtenances for Treatment Basin No. 1 at the Fleur Drive Operations Center in accordance with the provisions of this Section. 2024 FWTP Treatment Basin Rechaining Site Address: 2201 George Flagg Parkway Est.
