Site work and paving for a civil project in Atchison, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of three (3) culvert replacements along Ottawa Road from 246th Road to 262nd Road. Atchison County has purchased the culverts and plans to store them until they are needed by the successful contractor. Contractor will be required to coordinate deliveries with Atchison County at mutually agreed upon times to each project location for installation. Shop drawings are attached for reference and final approved submittals will be issued as an addendum prior to bid opening. This phase 1 work is part of a larger roadway grading and re-surfacing project to bid in early 2025. The Contractor will be required to maintain access to all properties during construction utilizing road closure barricades (:Local Traffic Only"). Traffic control will need to be adjusted as the work progresses to maintain property owner access from the north or south along Ottawa Road
