Site work and paving for a civil project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Cured-In-Place-Pipe Internal Lining of Existing 8" Sanitary Sewer 540 LF and Reinstate 8 Services; Mainline Sewer Cleaning and Video Inspection 540 LF; Service Line Video Inspection & Dye Testing 8 EA; 2 Spot Repairs; Replace 2 Sanitary Manholes; Install 8 Inspection Stacks; Pavement Restoration 53 SY Lawn Restoration 80 SY; and other specified work - all quantities approximate. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Proposals must be upon the forms provided. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the opening thereof. Contractor to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27 1955 as amended. The successful contractor must attach a Certificate of Compliance with labor standards as specified by the U.S. Department of Labor in the Davis-Bacon Act as amended 40 U.S.C. Sections 276(a) through 276(a)- 7 and furnish the County with weekly payrolls. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Labor Compliance is mandatory. Contractors should give the best effort to solicit proposals from Minority Women and Section 3 Business Enterprises for potential subcontractors.
