Project Description The project includes renovating the three sets of public restrooms and adding a new family restroom and mother's room in the pre-security portion of the SBN airport terminal. Functional upgrades include an improved layout design and fixtures to meet ADA and building code requirements. The project also includes the relocation and renovation of the information center, badging training, breakroom and operations office as the central restroom will expand into these existing spaces. The project is split into three main work areas, constructed under a single prime contract: West Restrooms, East Restrooms & Information Center, & Central Restrooms. This project is being funded in part with Federal Aviation Administration. All bidders are required to sign a certification that they will comply with all Federal and State non-discrimination laws and regulations. Work under this project is subject to the most recent Federal Davis-Bacon Requirements (2 CFR 200, Appendix II(D), 29 CFR Part 5), All state and federal guidelines must be followed. Regulatory Requirements: All rules and regulations pursuant to the State of Indiana Public Works Project shall govern submittal, opening and award of bids. DBE participation goal of 3.3% is required for this project. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. BID SECURITY Bid security bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids.
