Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Construction of, project staking, variable thickness asphaltic concrete pavement, 8" concrete pavements, concrete traffic island, variable thickness concrete base, concrete curb and gutter, 5" and 7" concrete walks, installation of conduit, fiberglass/polymer concrete pull boxes, and other electrical appurtenance, signage and signage installation, various pavement markings, concrete removals, pavement marking, sewer work, water work, various landscaping and planting, etc.; Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1000.00/Day The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. There is an interim completion date on this contract for a portion of work to be completed by November 15, 2024. All remainder work shall be completed by May 1, 2025 Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. For those bids being submitted through electronically and using a manual Bond, the contractor may send a signed/executed copy of the bid bond to the Department of Public Works Contract Office by emailing DPWbids@milwaukee.gov.
