The purpose of these specifications is to describe requirements sludge dredging of two sludge ponds. Liquidated damages at a rate of $200.00 per calendar day will be assessed for every day that exceeds 180 days. Large files may need to be split up and uploaded as multiple attachments. A pre-bid conference has been scheduled to be conducted, followed by an on-site visit at each of the facilities. This conference will allow contractors to discuss the specifications and resolve any questions and/or misunderstandings that may arise. The site visit will allow contractors to review and inspect the worksite. You are invited to attend The Contractor shall furnish all materials and perform all work as described in this section. 4.1.1 Georgetown Water Reclamation Plant Background Information There is roughly an estimated 8233.57 cubic yards of wet sludge. This calculated estimate was based on the information and physical measurements taken around the pond. The as-built drawings for the pond at the Georgetown Water Reclamation Plant can be found in Attachment 1. 4.1.2 Wilshire Water Reclamation Plant Background Information There is roughly an estimate 18902.37 cubic yards of wet sludge in pond 1 located at the Wilshire Water Reclamation Plant Pond. This estimate was calculated by information and physical measurements. The as-built drawings for the pond at the Wilshire Water Reclamation Plant can be found in Attachment 2 and Attachment 3. (For more information, please refer to the attachment BH-20348-TTBH.) The City of Savannah has established an 20% DBE goal for this project of which at least 10% must be met by a Local DBE.
