Reference Number 0000366057 Bids are requested for a one-year term contract with two, one-year renewal options for snowplowing services of City alleys for the 2024-2025, 2025-2026, 2026-2027 winter seasons as per the specifications contained herein. 1. The snowplowing of snow into the street and the spreading of snow within the streets is prohibited. 2. Snow plowed from driveways and sidewalks should only be deposited on the parkway of the property from which it was removed. 3. Contractors may not obstruct fire hydrants or mailboxes with snow plowed from driveways and sidewalks. 4. In distributing piles or banks of snow, contractors may not create any visual obstruction which would impair same use of streets and sidewalks. 5. Snow may not be plowed or otherwise deposited onto private property unless permission is first obtained from the property owners. 6. In traveling over sidewalks the operator shall avoid traveling over unplowed sidewalks by entering and leaving the sidewalk at driveways or other reasonable means which may be available for travel.
