Renovation of a laboratory facility in Toledo, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The University of Toledo ("UToledo") is soliciting qualifications for professional Architect/Engineer ("A/E") Services for the addition of a 4th cardiac catheterization lab and associated prep/recovery bays in existing University Medical Center (UMC) space. This project will be split into two phases of construction. The first phase includes interior renovations for a new prep/recovery suite for the Cath Lab and interventional radiology services. The prep/recovery suite is approximately 2,200 SF and includes a complete renovation to provide 10 new prep/recovery bays, procedure room, and associated support spaces. The second phase includes interior renovations to convert the former prep/recovery/cath lab space into a 4th Cath. Lab, control room, office, and storage areas. Renovation includes approximately 2,150SF which is adjacent to existing occupied Cath Lab space. As this is a renovation to an existing UToledo building, the design will need to closely follow University standards and design guidelines.
