A. By this Invitation for Bids ("IFB"), the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors (hereinafter the "County") is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified licensed contractors (herein referred to interchangeably as "Contractor" or "Bidder") to establish a firm fixed price contract with Contractor to furnish, deliver, supply and install all necessary labor and materials associated with the installation of chain link fencing and gates at four Fluvanna County athletic fields (collectively the "Fence Installations") and complete any and all necessary or appropriate associated work at the site ("Site Work") or other work in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions stated herein. Collectively, the work on the Fence Installations, Site Work and any other work required by this IFB is referred to herein as the "Project." B. The Project will be completed at two athletic fields at Pleasant Grove Park, 271 Pleasant Grove Drive, Palmyra VA 22963 and at two athletic fields at the Carysbrook Sports Complex, 8788 James Madison Hwy., Fork Union VA 23055 (collectively the "Properties"). The Project includes the furnishing of the following materials and the installation of the following fences: a. Pleasant Grove Park Baseball Field i. 8' tall fence, 180 feet long, 20 posts ii. 6' tall fence, 1,140 feet long, 111 posts iii. Two gates, 8' tall by 32 inches wide iv. Pleasant Grove Park Softball Field i. 8' tall fence, 120 feet long, 14 posts ii. 6' tall fence, 715 feet long, 68 posts iii. Two gates, 8' tall by 32 inches wide iv. One gate, 6' tall by 12' wide v. Eight 10'by 10' tall sections for backstop with five 10' posts c. Carysbrook Baseball Field i. 8' tall fence, 100 feet long, 10 posts ii. 6' tall fence, 80 feet long, 14 posts iii. 5' tall fence, 34 feet long, 10 posts iv. 4' tall fence, 370 feet long, 61 posts v. Two 3.5' wide by 5' tall gates vi. Two 4' wide by 6' tall gates vii. Two 4' wide by 4' tall gates viii. One 5' wide by 4' tall double gate (total width 10' gate opening) Backstop ix.
