Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Fork Union, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

The Contractor shall provide, furnish, deliver, supply, and install all necessary or appropriate labor, services, parts, tools, materials, equipment, items, and resources as may be required to complete the work on the Project, in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions stated. The Scope of Work includes, at minimum, the construction of a Prototype IV, Class B Containerized Live Fire Training Structure and complying with all requirements of the Grant. The Project is to be designed, constructed, and administered in accordance with the Grant, NFPA 1402, the VDFP Policy, VDFP's "Agency Practices, Policies," and the "Project Manual for Live Fire Training Structures." The Contractor will work with the site contractor to coordinate installation. The phases of work include: advancing the design and budget to produce approved engineered plans and specifications, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, and constructing the Project following all approved plans and contract documents. Instructions to bidders: Proposals must be submitted complete and on time, following the prescribed format, including all required forms and appendices. The proposal should include at minimum: cover letter, overview of the firm and key staff, project full specifications, representative project experience, project approach, list of proposed subcontractors (if any), and required forms such as Offeror Statement, Proof of Authority to Transact Business in Virginia, and Certificate of No Collusion. The County's General Terms, Conditions, and Instructions to Bidders and Contractors bind all offerors and form a material part of any awarded contract. The deadline and method of proposal submission must be followed exactly as outlined. The County reserves the right to reject late or incomplete submissions and may require oral presentations at its discretion. The selected Offeror will be required to demonstrate the ability to deliver the services impartially and without conflict of interest. A performance and payment bond equal to the contract price from a licensed insurer in Virginia is required prior to contract execution.
