Door and Hardware-furnish & Install It is the intention of the City to enter into a contract for a term of approximately one year commencing on date of award and ending November 30, 2025. 3.2 The City may extend the contract under the same terms and conditions for up to three (3) additional years in increments of one (1) year or less, provided such extension is mutually agreeable The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation and equipment and materials only when requested and necessary to perform door and hardware repair and installation work. 4.2 The contractor will work under the direction of authorized representation of the ordering agencies. 4.3 TYPES OF WORK 4.3.1 Generally, work assigned will be for small projects calling for 1-2 workers and will involve single and multiple door repair, replacement and installation. However, other services may also be required. 4.3.2 Work may be required both inside and outside of buildings. DO NOT MAKE INQUIRES BY PHONE OR IN PERSON. Inquiries should be submitted in writing no later than five (5) days prior to the bid closing date. Inquiries received after that time may not be accepted. Any interpretation made to prospective bidders will be expressed in the form of an addendum to the specifications. Addenda will be publicly advertised and available to all prospective bidders no later than three (3) days before the bid closing date. Oral answers will not be binding on the City.
