Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in San Andreas, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

**As of November 21, 2024, this project has been awarded to Steelhead constructors , awarded amount not available.** This project, generally described, consists of replacement of an existing bridge and improve the approach roadway. The replacement bridge will be a single span 36 feet long by 27 feet wide cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab bridge. See Section 5, "Control of Work," of the Standard Specifications dated May 3, 2023 of the California Departmen of Transportation. The improved structure will accommodate two 10-foot lanes with 2-foot shoulders and barrier rails. The roadway approaches will be raised to meet the new bridge structure elevation and approximately 300 feet of roadway to the north and south of the bridge will be improved. Stage construction will be implemented to maintain traffic operations throughout construction. Questions regarding this Invitation to Bid must be submitted in writing to the Countys procurement website by 3:00 PM on October 25, 2024 The County of Calaveras will receive sealed bids for construction of the Dogtown Road over French Gulch Bridge Replacement project, County Project No.5930 (061). This project, generally described, consists of In coordination with Caltrans and the Federal Highway Administration, the existing bridge over French Gulch on Dogtown Road has been identified as functionally obsolete. The recommendation is to replace the existing bridge and improve the approach roadway. The replacement bridge will be a single span 36 feet long by 27 feet wide cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab bridge. The improved structure will accommodate two 10-foot lanes with 2-foot shoulders and barrier rails. The roadway approaches will be raised to meet the new bridge structure elevation and approximately 300 feet of roadway to the north and south of the bridge will be improved. Stage construction will be implemented to maintain traffic operations throughout construction. Bids must be accompanied by bidder's security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid.
