The City of Corvallis will receive sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide consultant services in support of the Public Works Capital Projects Engineering group for the 17th Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge Project identified in the 2026-2029 Corvallis Capital Improvement Program. Consultant services are estimated to range from $50,000 to $120,000. Selection will be conducted through a Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) process. The scope of work includes permitting, hydraulic analysis, and prefabricated bridge selection services for a proposed 320-feet multi-use path crossing a 60-foot span of Dixon Creek within the FEMA regulatory floodway and a locally protected riparian corridor in the Porter Park area. The selected Consultant will be responsible for identifying, applying for, and obtaining all required local, state, and federal permits necessary for project construction. The hydraulic analysis must demonstrate FEMA ""no-rise"" compliance and support bridge foundation design. The bridge selection services will involve coordination with prefabricated bridge manufacturers to evaluate bridge types and culminate in a final bridge type recommendation. Once the bridge type is selected, the Consultant will be responsible for providing design drawings for the bridge area in coordination with the prefabricated bridge manufacturer.
