The work consists of constructing approximately 1,140 linear feet of 8-inch and 6-inch ductile iron waterline with fittings, valves, thrust blocking, service laterals, air release valves, blow-off assemblies, fire hydrants and required appurtenances, restoring surfaces including curbs, driveways, sidewalk, asphalt streets and landscaping, abandoning old utilities, and other work as shown on the plans or described in the contract documents. The project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 6, 2025, per owner, the City of Corvallis Capital Engineering Division is the engineer for this project. A general contractor has been identified. Project is under construction and expected to be completed in the next couple of months. Sealed bids for the construction of the Water Pipe Replacement – Seneca Pl / Terracegreen Pl / Birdie Dr, Project Nos. 655635 & 653600 must be mailed to the City of Corvallis, Attention: Katy Sproat, Public Works Department at PO Box 1083, Corvallis OR 97339, or delivered to the Public Works Administration Office located at 1245 NE 3rd Street, Corvallis, OR 97330. Delivered bids must be dropped off inside the Public Works Administrative Office. Sealed bids must be received by 2:00 p.m. on November 12, 2024 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. This is a public works contract subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
