Site work for a water / sewer project in Corvallis, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will replace the following sewer pipes, including manholes and the public portion of sewer laterals, which have reached the end of their useful life: 610 feet of 8-inch concrete pipe in NW Witham Hill Drive south of NW Elmwood Drive. 375 feet of 12-inch concrete pipe in NW 17th Street, south of NW Locust Street. 490 feet of 15-inch concrete pipe in a backyard easement between NW Garfield Avenue and NW Arthur Avenue. The backyard easement line will be replaced using pipe bursting, a "trenchless technology" technique which minimizes the amount of open excavation and impacts to adjacent properties. As of October 22, 2024, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
