Oregon State University ("OSU" and/or "Owner") is conducting a competitive ONE OR TWO-STEP Request for Proposals (RFP) process to retain ONE (1) firm to provide design services for the Field Sports Building (the "Project"). The university's 570-acre main campus is located in the city of Corvallis, a vibrant college town of nearly 58,000 in the heart of Western Oregon's Willamette Valley. Corvallis consistently ranks among the safest, most highly educated and greenest small cities in the nation. Location. OSU Sports Complex (2200 Western Blvd. - Corvallis, OR 97331). The new Field Sports Building near the OSU track and softball facilities is a purpose-built space designed to enhance training, competition preparedness, and wellness for Oregon State University's five field-based sports. This state-of-the-art facility will provide an upgraded environment for coaches, athletes, visiting teams, and officials, supporting both daily operations and high-stakes event requirements. Encompassing 15,000-20,000 gross square feet (GSF), the building is anticipated to be one or two stories and will feature a variety of specialized areas, including dedicated coaches' offices for Men's and Women's Soccer, Softball, and Cross Country/Track & Field. The design scope of services includes a planning phase to establish project objectives and requirements, followed by the full range of design phases from schematic design through construction administration, adhering strictly to OSU's design and construction standards.
