Modular/Relocatable Fire Station(s) The City reserves the right to waive proposal informality or technicality and to accept or reject any or all bids. The City is seeking bids to provide modular/relocatable Fire Station Structures. The work to be performed under the provisions of this solicitation includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, permits, inspections, and other services required for the following: 1. Design, engineer, deliver, and construct/set up a new modular temporary fire station. 2. Modular will be a structure built to conform to the base of design and requirements listed below with this Bid package. The structure must meet all current Florida Building and Fire Codes with a minimum wind rating of 170mph. Please see the letter of exclusion for ADA requirements. a. The modular unit will be relocatable; the bidding contractor will offer services to relocate this unit and provide the estimated time needed to disconnect, haul, deliver, and set up the modular within a 50-mile radius. This information will be used for future planning, not pricing. b. The modular unit will have 3 restrooms with showers, each at least 40 sq. ft., and each will be plumbed in. c. The modular unit will have 1 laundry area of at least 40 sq. ft. with plumbing and exhaust features for one standard residential washer and dryer. d. The modular unit will not exceed 105' in width and 36' in depth. e. The modular unit will have at least a 280 sq. ft. day room/recreation room. f. The modular unit will have at least a 280 sq. ft. kitchen/dining area. The kitchen area will be one full kitchen with (3) three refrigerators, (1) one dishwasher, (3) three separate 20cu.ft of lockable storage cabinet space, and (1) electric range with oven.
