Units 22, 37, 57, Road Bond Paving and Unit 23 Paving Maintenance The project will consist of the following pavement treatments for Units 22, 37, 57 and 23. The roadway treatment shall include the following: o Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) o 2" Milling & Paving o 1.5" Milling & Paving o 1.5" Thin Lift Overlay All streets shown on the construction plans are located within Units 22, 23, 37 and 57 in the City of Palm Bay Right of Way. Construction shall include all incidental work items to be performed as per construction plans to include FDR operation, milling and paving, thin lift overlay, utility riser adjustments, patch repair, spray herbicide, edge grading, sodding, sidewalk connections, curb repairs, ADA detectable warning matts, temporary striping and final thermoplastic striping and pay quantities provided for each shown in the bid documents. The selected contractor shall furnish and install all construction work identified on the plans and per the specifications identified herein. The FDR and paving operations on San Filippo, Community College Parkway and Interstate Court shall include a shuttle buggy or Material Transfer Vehicle (MTV) and all streets will include a traffic roller or pneumatic asphalt roller. For the FDR mix design, the percent of emulsion and cement for each street is shown below in the table. If the roadway requires additional millings due to deficient asphalt pavement, the City shall provide the added millings. Contractor will be required to load and truck the millings to the project streets. All millings or suitable materials from the milling operation of roadways will be transported to PM 49 or PW Facility TBD by PM or Inspection Staff. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish and pay for all management, supervision, financing, labor, materials, tools, fuel, supplies, utilities, equipment, and services of any kind or type necessary to diligently, timely, and fully perform and complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents in a good and workmanlike manner.
