The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections (ODRC) through the Bureau of Information Technology Services is responsible for the IT management at Madison Correctional Institute (MaCI) located in London, Ohio. ODRC seeks the services of an Architect/Engineer ("A/E") for the design of new fiber backbones and the remediation of the main distribution frames (MFD) and intermediate distribution frames (IDF) and replacement of the Fire Control Panel & associated Fire Alarm devices throughout the MaCI facility. Currently, ODRC's MDF/IDF and associated equipment are antiquated and has exceeded capacity to meet the State Agency's needs. The remediation of ODRC's MDFs & IDFs will enhance the ability to meet the technology requirements currently and potentially future expansions. Project Location Madison Correctional Institute The development of a complete Program of Requirements (POR) will be included as part of the A/E services. This POR development will include review and validation of the MaCI institution/facility to define/refine the anticipated programmatic scope. Verify adequate power & HVAC cooling in Server Rooms. The POR effort should accomplish a project scope that is prioritized to determine the cost of work budget. Evaluation of the project construction schedule will also be a part of the POR stage. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority (OFCC) and Owner's (ODRC) policies and procedures.
