The scope of work consists of the installation of closed-circuit television cameras, poles, footings, and associated power and communication infrastructure on the H-1 Freeway and Farrington Highway on the Island of Oahu and includes connecting the system to existing City and State fiber optic lines to provide communication to the H-3 Traffic Operations Center and City and County of Honolulu Traffic Management Center. The estimated cost of construction is between $8,000,000 and $13,000,000. To be eligible for award, bidders shall possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering "A" license prior to the award of contract.
