Description: Renovation of existing athletic facilties at Red Bank High School. No new building area is added in this renovation. The work includes, but is not limited to: Selective demolition of existing and reconstruction of interior walls, floors and ceilings including new stairs; Demolition of existing and providing new plumbing, HVAC and electrical as indicated; Provision of a new ADA compliant accessible lift; Repair of existing and installation of new metal building insulation as specified; Provision of new finishes throughout renovated spaces; Selective demolition and provision of new doors & hardware; Provision of new accessories, equipment and casework as indicated; Provision of new ADA accessible sidewalk with subsurface drainage and exterior concrete stairs; Provision of a new entry canopy as shown and detailed. BIDS shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or BID guarantee bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the BASE BID made payable to Hamilton County Department of Education (Owner), and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS. The successful bidder will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The Contractor shall comply with all State, Federal, and Local laws and/or regulations. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids. Rights of Owner - The Hamilton County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive technicalities and informalities, and to award a contract to other than the low bidder.
