Special Project Professional Engineering and Related Services for the Installation of Emergency Generators at Public Facilities Borough of Frenchtown for the Year 2024/2025 Contract The Borough of Frenchtown seeks a licensed professional engineer to serve as the Borough’s consulting engineer for the specific purpose of installing emergency generators throughout the borough public lands and facilities. The tasks include, but not limited to, reviewing, analyzing, and determining the appropriate locations, type of electrical service and needs necessary, preparing specifications, recommending awards and reporting to the governing body and borough officials. The Special Projects Engineer for the purpose of installing emergency generators shall provide engineering services, at an hourly rate, required by the Borough and the Borough Departments. At all times, the Special Projects Engineer for the purpose of installing emergency generators shall consult with the Chief Financial Officer and Qualified Purchasing Agent to determined the availability of funds and compliance with the Local Government Public Contracts Law and other state laws and regulations for consulting work and the purchase of generators, PRIOR to the commencing with any phase of the project. Any RFP Addenda will be issued on the website and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23(c)(1). All interested respondents should check the website from now through RFP opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement. Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C 17:27 et seq. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
