The work under this contract consists of the periodic removal, hauling and proper disposal of all sludge from the Borough-owned Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Contract Period will extend through December 31, 2025 and is based on an estimated annual volume of 300,000 gallons of sludge to be removed, hauled and disposed at various times during the year. The Borough of Frenchtown reserves the right to reject any and all bids, should the Borough determine it is in the public interest to do so. Questions regarding this Bid should be directed to Public Works Superintendent, Michael Reino at 908-246-8651. A Certified, Treasurers or Cashier's Check or bid bond in the sum of 10% of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be submitted with the sealed bid proposal along with the Non-Collusion Affidavit, List of Stockholders, Affirmative Action, Agreement of Surety, Insurance and Business Registration Certificate. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L. 1975, C. 127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
