Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Frenchtown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Ward Street Improvement Project The Project consists of roadway improvements to Ward Street (from Kingwood Avenue to Maple Avenue)as delineated on the Construction Plans. More specifically, work shall include road reconstruction, HMA milling and paving, fulldepth pavement repair, installation of concrete curb, driveway repairs, grading and drainage improvements, construction ofADA curb ramps, striping, site restoration and all other improvements depicted within the Bid Documents. All work on thiscontract must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Contract documents anddrawings for the proposed work (the “Contract Documents”, which have been prepared by William H. Burr, IV, P.E., of the firmColliers Engineering & Design Inc. (DBA Maser Consulting), are available electronically or via delivery by common carrier bymaking a request to kristen.debski@collierseng.com and will be on file at the below date in the Borough of Frenchtown,Borough Hall located at 29 Second Street, Frenchtown, New Jersey 08825.Bidders will be furnished with a copy of theContract Documents by request upon proper notice to the above e-mail address. In the e-mail message, the contractor shallindicate if they request an electronic copy (PDF format) or paper copy. Electronic copies will be provided via e-mail at nocharge. Paper copies will be provided after a non-refundable charge of $125.00 payable to Colliers Engineering & Design Inc.(DBA Maser Consulting) is received. Send payment to William Burr, Colliers Engineering & Design, 53 Frontage Road Suite110, Hampton, NJ 08827. Paper copies will be sent via UPS or Fedex if the contractor provides UPS or Fedex accountinformation to defray the cost of this shipping method. Otherwise, paper copies will be sent via USPS.The ContractDocuments will be available during business hours beginning on Monday, April 7, 2025. Question Deadline 04/15/2025 Proposals must be made on thestandard proposal forms included with the Contract Documents in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must beenclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside and beaddressed to the Borough of Frenchtown, and must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a suretycompany authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner and either a bid bond or acertified check drawn to the order of Borough of Frenchtown for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, exceptthat the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor andmaterial (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required. The award of the Contract for this project will not bemade until the necessary funds have been provided by the Owner in a lawful manner.Proposals for this contract will only beaccepted from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents.Theright is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to thebest interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A.40A:11-23.2. Further, the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state orfederal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing. Theright is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications.Thesuccessful bidder shall be required to comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, which include but arenot limited to the affirmative action requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
