Refuse and Recyclable Collection for York Haven Borough The work for which the bids are being solicited is the collection and disposal of refuse and recyclables within York Haven Borough commencing on January 1, 2025 for the period of 2 or 3 years in accordance with the specifications All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond with corporate surety in the amount of $500 payable to the York Haven Borough. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount equal to the pro-rated contract price for the first year within 20 days after the award has been made by the York Haven Borough Council, which performance bond must be renewed on an annual basis. York Haven Borough Council reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities and the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 45 days after the date set for the opening thereof.
