The City of Charleston is accepting sealed bids to procure a Flygt wastewater pump to replace Pump #5 in the Main Pump Station. This solicitation does not include installation. The City of Charleston reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive an informality in the bidding procedure, and to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the City. The vendor shall provide one (1) Flygt NT-3400.736 Drive Pump, with motor rated for 170HP at 460V 3-phase. The pump shall have a closed loop cooling system, 20" suction (inlet) connection, 16" discharge, with optional hard iron impeller and insert ring. Additional Materials and Equipment 1. One (1) Danfoss 200HP variable frequency drive (VFD), 480V, 3-phase, rated at 190A continuous current, with door mounted keypad kit 9. One (1) Lot of 115VAC cooling fan, inlet filter assembly, and back panel mounted thermostat for VFD cabinet Delivery Requirements The pump, materials, and equipment shall be delivered to the Waste Water Treatment Plant, located at 1200 West Madison Ave., Charleston IL.
