BID SECURITY A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded him. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full amount of the bid accepted. PREVAILING WAGE RATES Contractors and Subcontractors shall be required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and adopted by the County. SALES TAX This project is exempt from sales tax. The Owner will provide the Contractor with tax exempt identification number upon request.
