The RFP is an invitation to submit non-binding proposals for Lottery Terminals and Peripherals Replacement. Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) is a non-profit organization authorized to manage, conduct and operate lottery and gaming-related activities as agent for its members, the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories and Nunavut participate as associate members. WCLC is seeking a Prospective Partner to replace our lottery terminals, scanners, printers, customer display units and ticket-checkers, as well as provide and maintain terminal software across our current 4900 retail locations. This will also include a self-service terminal (SST) pilot. Should WCLC and the Prospective Partner enter into Definitive Agreements to supply the Work, the Prospective Partner, if requested by WCLC, shall provide at the Prospective Partner's sole cost, a performance bond in a form and with a surety acceptable to WCLC, in an amount up to 100% of the total amount to be paid for the Work. If a performance bond is required, such bond must be in place within thirty (30) days of written notification by WCLC to the Prospective Partner. Failure to provide such bond as and when required by WCLC shall entitle, but not require, WCLC to rescind the Definitive Agreements for the Work. General Liability Insurance which shall pay on behalf the Prospective Partner all sums which the Prospective Partner and his/her respective servants, agents and employees shall be obligated to pay as damages, costs, expenses or other charges as a result of bodily injury, personal injury or property damage. The limit of liability shall be in a minimum amount than Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00) per occurrence for bodily injury, personal injury or property damage, unless otherwise provided in Appendix A, and include all other coverage as may be provided in Appendix A. The Prospective Partner will provide a certificate of insurance coverage for each year that the contract for the Work is in effect.
