This proposal is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et. seq. REQUIREMENTS FOR QUALIFICATION The requirements listed below are the minimum requirements necessary in order to have your request for proposal considered. TOWNSHIP ENGINEER All applicable licenses to perform engineering in NJ. At least five (5) years' experience as an appointed engineer to a municipality. The successful firm will provide the Township with engineering services relating, but not necessarily limited to planning and designing capital improvements for public buildings, roads, parks and recreational facilities. Additionally, the successful firm will provide engineering services in technical and administrative areas such as municipal budgeting, traffic engineering, pavement management, storm water management, water system operations, municipal land use, data management, infrastructure maintenance and/or any other matter as directed by the Township. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Please provide the following information: 1. Names, title and licenses of all the individuals who may perform the service and/or activity. 2. A description of the individual's or firm's experience with similar services or projects. 3. A list of references and record of success. 4. Demonstration of areas of expertise of staff. 5. A description of the individual or firm's ability to provide the service or complete the activity in a timely fashion or as required by the Township. 6. A fee schedule for the firm. 7. Availability to accommodate any required meetings of the municipality. SELECTION CRITERIA The Township reserves the right to reject any proposal. The Township reserves the right to award a contract or contracts to the vendor(s) as determined to be in the best interests of the Township based upon the selection criteria. The selection criteria used in awarding a contract or agreement for professional services as described herein shall include: 1. Qualifications of the individuals who will perform the tasks and the amounts of their respective participation; 2. Experience and references; 3. Ability to perform the task in a timely fashion, including staffing and familiarity with the subject matter; and 4. Cost competitiveness
