The Town of Tisbury, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for Vineyard Haven Public Library Addition & Renovation project in accordance with Contract Documents. The town is planning on adding a large meeting room to serve the community. In addition the town would like to bring the existing building up to the current energy codes, replace the roofing material and siding, add new bathrooms and upgrade existing plumbing and electrical. The Town of Tisbury, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for Addition and Renovation at the Vineyard Haven Public Library in accordance with Contract Documents. The Vineyard Haven Library serves both a winter and summer population in the town of Tisbury on the island of Martha's Vineyard. The library is a wood frame building that was fully renovated in the 1990's. The town is planning on adding a large meeting room to serve the community. It will be used for a speakers series and as a gathering space. In addition the town would like to bring the existing building up to the current energy codes, replace the roofing material and siding, add new bathrooms and upgrade existing plumbing and electrical. . The scope of the base contract includes and is not limited to the following, demolition; new room addition; front porch addition; all new windows; new siding; new roofing; new Insulation; Ductwork; HVAC Equipment; Controls; and all associated installation and balancing; Exterior and interior Carpentry specific to the two additions and window trim; Electrical as detailed and specified within the contract documents; new soft scape and hard scape. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
