Renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a museum.
As of October 14, 2025, per owner, this requirement has been cancelled and is not anticipated to be regenerated in the foreseeable future. The purpose of this project is Historical Restoration of Building 37 Gatehouse. The project addresses repairs to exterior features to reflect the historic time period of the building. Interior space will be shelled out to provide flexibility for future use. This work will require teaming with SHPO and DLA Environmenntal's Cultural Resources personnel. The estimated date for release of the full solicitation will be announced in an upcoming synopsis, which will be published on SAM.gov under the same notice ID(SP470325R0002). Please note, the full solicitation may have inconsistencies with attachment DSCR B37 DD100 SPECS.PDF; this file is being provided for informative details of the requirement as it currently exists. The full solicitation will have the finalized requirement for this project; interested parties are not encouraged to begin proposal development based on the requirement as currently described. The material requirement will not likely change, but the proposal format, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria may. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
