Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Science Museum of Virginia, hereafter referred to as the "Science Museum", is seeking a Contractor to furnish labor, material and equipment to perform the following repairs to the concrete roof and sidewalk in the East Marquee area. o Diamond grind to remove damaged coating and provide surface profile. o Repair damaged surface concrete. o Apply one (1) coat of Pecora Deck 802 base coat. o Apply one (1) coat of Pecora Deck 806 finish coat. o Remove existing caulking and backing rod. o Install new backing rod and urethane coating. The Contractor shall be responsible for all measurements for this project to determine the required amount of materials needed to complete the job. Any miscalculations shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to remedy in a timely manner at no additional cost to the Science Museum. The Contractor shall perform the services preferably starting on Monday, November 11, 2024 and complete the work by November 18, 2024. The specific work schedule will be coordinated with the Science Museum Facilities Director after award of the IFB Be registered with a "Contractor's License" through the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) as specified Section 4.(c) of the Instructions to Bidders (CO-7A) and the "Contractor Registration" Special Term and Condition. Questions may be addressed at the site visit. However, to receive a binding answer that is incorporated into the resulting contract, a question must be submitted in writing to Laura Dearhart at ldearhart@smv.org.
