Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Armstrong, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Construction of the Phase 2 Closure works and construction of an upgraded Residential Transfer Station at the ASDDF (designed by others). TIMELINE: Request for Proposals is underway from suitably qualified consultants for the provision of engineering services for the Phase 2 Closure Design at the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Diversion and Disposal Facility (ASDDF). The design will include grading, capping, storm water, leachate and landfill gas management, and roadways for the Phase 2 Closure Area as well as the integration of the Phase 2 Closure Area with the previously closed Phase 1 Closure Area. The Consultant will be asked to provide recommendations regarding the phasing of the completion of the filling of the Phase 2 Closure Area, construction of the Phase 2 Closure works and construction of an upgraded Residential Transfer Station at the ASDDF (designed by others). Further update in early 2025, pending selection of a preferred proponent. Question Deadline:11/07/2024 at 4:30 PM PT Budget estimate is unconfirmed.
