Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting bids for the overlay of approximately 11 miles of streets throughout the City of Bowling Green, as budget permits. Portions of this project will require additional rehabilitation prior to the overlay capping. The scope of this contract shall include, but is not limited to, all work as listed in Table 1, pages 12 - 14. There is additional milling required on Mooreland Drive and Covington Grove Boulevard due to tree roots, as well as replacement of roll curb on Covington Grove Boulevard. Dig outs will be required on a section of Wilkinson Trace and 76-22 mix for both asphalt surface and base will be utilized at this location. Additionally, minor median reconstruction will be required on Wilkinson Trace to allow for a longer turn lane before the paving can occur. There are approximately 56 handicap ramps to be replaced prior to overlay of the adjacent street(s). A map of these locations will be provided to the successful bidder. A Bid Bond shall be submitted with your bid as required by KRS 45A.430. A cashier's check, or certified check, may be substituted for the Bid Bond. Also, an irrevocable letter of credit from a state or federally chartered bank may be substituted as a form of a Bid Bond. The Bid Bond, or substitution security, shall be in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid cost. Upon contractual agreement, if the contract award is for $100,000 or more, the successful Respondent must replace the Bid Bond with a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount no less than one hundred (100) percent of the total bid cost.
