Renovation of a multi-residential development in Ogdensburg, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The estimated budget is $30,000. The proposed project involves the addition of water shutoffs for the washing machines in the apartments at Belmont Courts. There will be no demolition of the existing shutoff valves. Proposals in excess of $100,000 must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond issued by a surety company which shall insure the Owner to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal or a certified check to be used by the Owner to insure the Owner in lieu of a bid bond to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal. Proposals less than $100,000 must be accompanied by a certified or bank check in the amount of 5% of the proposal. A performance and payment bond will not be required from the selected contractor for proposals less than $100,000, However the Owner may require another form of security for faithful performance. Sample forms for bid, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds and construction contract documents are included in this package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the OWNER. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to kjerome@gymodpc.com and will be accepted until one week prior to the bid opening. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding. If your electronic bid submission is over 25mb, please contact the office and a secure link for bid submission can be provided. Bidders will be notified within 10 days after bid opening of selection.
