Pickup days shall be weekdays between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The "roll off" 20/30 cubic yard containers and compactors shall be picked up within 24 hours of a telephone request from an authorized facility representative or as per agreed upon schedule between the Contractor and Facility. The Contractor agrees that refuse/garbage collected from all pick up points is to be collected in a closed vehicle equal to the standard packer truck, to prevent scattering of such refuse on the center grounds. The Contractor must furnish containers which have casters, hinged top covers and be equal to those manufactured by the Heil Company and be new or in an equivalent acceptable condition. The containers to be furnished must be as specified or larger. The Totes are to be the 90-gallon size and to be of equal or better quality as those now being provided. The approximate number and size of containers/totes is noted herein, but both are subject to increase or decrease as required during the contract period. The 20/30-yard container is to be a self-contained portable compactor with 2-yard hopper and chute system, safety deck with railing, limiter safety switch, and lock on access door. The hydraulic pump system will contain a multi-cycle timer and oil emersion heater. The Contractor is responsible for full maintenance of the equipment and cleanup of area. Proposed locations of containers and/or sites are subject to change based on the operating needs of the Center. Payment will be made based on the actual number of containers/sites currently in use.
