DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of constructing approximately 1,400 feet of asphalt trail at the Morgan County Fairgrounds along Round Valley Road. The work includes grading, base course, and hot mix asphalt surface course for the trail. COMPLETION OF WORK: The work shall be completed by June 1, 2025. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier s check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price made payable to Morgan County. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions concerning this project shall be directed to the Project Engineer. OWNER S RIGHTS RESERVED: Morgan County Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the County.
