The project is located within the drainage easement associated with the North Stimson Drain, from North of Division Road to SR49 in Valparaiso, Indiana. The project is located in Section 05, Township 34 North, Range 5 West, in Morgan Township, Porter County, Indiana The project consists of the installation of a new drain tile system to replace a failed drain tile system. The overall purpose of the project is to enhance the drainage and storm water management services provided to the surrounding property owners by improving the area s storm water infrastructure. The project generally includes the installation of drain tile, via open trench construction, and the installation of storm sewer structures. The project also includes road cut and repair work as needed to install the new drain tile across Division Road. It also includes other items incidental to the work including the creation and maintenance of a temporary construction entrance and construction access routes and the restoration of all areas disturbed during the performance of the work. Excess excavated material generated during the performance of the work is to be disposed on site in adjacent agricultural field and then covered with stripped topsoil. The work includes the carrying out of all duties and obligations and the furnishing of all labor, material, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary or convenient to the successful completion of the project.
