SCOPE OF WORK: The work consists of interior remodels and upgrades of existing county jail building, consisting of: new fire sprinkler system throughout, new walls and doors, replacement of existing metal security ceilings with new, new lighting at new ceiling locations, some new windows, plumbing upgrades, and miscellaneous finish improvements, plus a new exit door with outdoor recreation space by alternate, and generator replacement by alternate, with demolition as required for all changes. The Owner requires the project to be substantially complete by October 16, 2026. liquidated damages. Bid security - Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or bank draft in the amount of 10% of the bid amount.
