WATER WELL #7 PARTS INSTALLATION Scope of Work: The work will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks Pump: Installation of Franklin-Model # 8C3F-8" Encapsulated Moter-100HP/75 KW, 50/60 Hz, 380-415/ 460 VAC, 3-Phase Piping: Installation of 570' of 6" T&C Schedule 40 piping and fittings to connect the pump to the pressure tank and water distribution system. Electrical Components: Installation of wiring and electrical connections 575' of #1-gauge wire required for pump operation. Control Panel: Installation of the control panel to regulate the pump's operation.Valves and Fittings: Installation of necessary valves and fittings for proper operation of the water system. Site Preparation: • Ensure that the installation area is clear of debris and obstacles. • Verify that all materials and parts are on-site and ready for installation Installation Process: • Follow manufacturer guidelines for the installation of all components. • Ensure proper alignment, connections, and secure fastening of all parts. • Conduct tests to ensure that all components function correctly post-installation. Bid Bonds: Are required on ALL Bid and/or Public Works Project over $25,000, a bid bond must be submitted for each separate bid response. The bid bond shall be in an amount equal to 5% of the bid price submitted and alternates, if any. The bid security shall be in a form of a bid bond or certified check, or cashier’s check. The Contractor is required to record the Contract with the Clerk of Court in Lincoln Parish and must provide the Purchasing Department with proof of filing. Additionally, a Performance Bond will be required at the time of the award of the contract BID SECURITY in the form of a bid bond, certified check email document from the Surety Company as prescribed by LA R.S. 38:2218.A is attached to and made a part of this bid. If a bid bond is provided it shall be on the attached form and only on the attached form. Interpretation of Solicitation/Bidder Inquiries: If Bidder is in doubt as to the meaning of any part or requirement of this solicitation, Bidder may submit a written request for interpretation to the Grambling State University Purchasing at the email address on page 1 of thissolicitation. Written inquiries must be received in the Grambling State University Purchasing Department no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the opening of bids, and shall be clearly cross-referenced to the relevant solicitation/specification in question. Grambling State University reserves the right to award items separately, grouped or on an all or none basis and to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
