The work of constructing the Red Bay Water System Improvements Project - Contract No. 1 Red Bay Water Transmission Main Upgrade - DWSRF Project No. FS010199-04 will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. The principal items of work are detailed herein below: 1. 14,000 LF of 16" HDPE Pipe, DR9 (Furnish Only) 4. Automatic Air Release Valves 2. 1,200 LF 24" Steel Casing Pipe 9 (Furnish Only) 5. Flush Hydrants (Furnish Only) 3. Gate Valves (Furnish Only) 6. Pressure Management Station (Furnish Only) 7. Miscellaneous Fittings and Accessories The Supplier is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 120 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. Questions deadline: 11/16/2024
