Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Homewood, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
** As of September 17,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project scope includes stormwater infrastructure (inlets, junction boxes, storm pipe, etc.) to be constructed beginning at Kenilworth, through a stormwater easement, and down Hillwood Drive. Construction of the improvements will require curb & gutter, landscaping, tree/vegetation removal, and utility coordination. Erosion control and traffic control is also be included in the project scope. Questions concerning the bid documents shall be sent via email to cale.smith@homewoodal.org. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each BIDDER must deposit with his/her BID security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful BIDDER will be required to submit 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All BIDDERS must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work for which a proposal is submitted. The submission of the BIDDER's current State of Alabama License number will be required before his/her BID will be received or considered and shall be written on the outside of the envelope in which BID is submitted. No BIDDER may withdraw his/her BID within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
