Renovation of a residential development in Dubuque, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Lead Hazard Control 1377 N Booth & 1345 Glen Oak In general, the work consists of lead abatement and hazard mitigation work which may include general carpentry, concrete flatwork, painting, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing trades etc. Line Item Construction Bids will be received for the projects. Minority and women-owned businesses and small, local, and emerging contractors are encouraged to participate. A bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid (over $25,000) submitted and shall be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bond. All projects at or exceeding $25,000.00 require a Payment, Performance, and one-year Maintenance Bond. If this project bid is at or exceeds $25,000.00, a 100% payment and performance bond and one year maintenance bond is required at or prior to Lead & Healthy Homes contract signing. This invitation is given and published pursuant to authorization of the City of Dubuque and the Owners. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity or to accept any bid which best serves the interest of the Owners. All requested attachments to the bid must be attached as stated within the individual bids.
