The scope of work for the Concrete Replacements Project will generally include concrete repairs, minor paving and associated items of work. The scope of work for the Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Project will include installation of a cured in place liner within the existing drainage infrastructure. Work generally includes concrete replacement with minor excavation and pavement restoration and associated work and labor. Bids will have a tentative award date of November 25, 2024. Faxed bids will not be accepted. A nominal fee is assessed only to bidders who are awarded contracts. For bidders who are not the winning bid; there are absolutely no fees. Any interested bidder shall be Township prequalified or shall submit your Township prequalification forms within the bid package. These documents shall include the Responsible Contractor Certification Form and Responsibility Statement with Supporting Data Form. All questions shall be submitted online. This Contract is in Accordance With the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the Successful Bidder Shall Pay No Less Than the Wage Rates Determined for the Project as Stated in the Contract Documents. Award of the Contract, if the Contract is Awarded, Will Be to the Lowest Responsible Bidder, as Determined by Bensalem Township. The Township Reserves the Right to Reject Any and or All Bids on Any Basis and to Waive Any Defects, Errors, Omissions, Irregularities or Informalities in the Bidding, as Permitted by Law, and to Accept Any Bid Which It May Deem to Be for or in the Best Interest of the Township in Its Sole and Absolute Discretion.
