Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check or cashier's check, in favor of Bensalem Township, in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms acceptable to Bensalem Township. No requirement in this Article 3 to submit information will prejudice the right of Owner to seek additional pertinent information regarding Bidderis qualifications.
