All Bids Shall Be for a Three (3) Year Period Commencing January 1, 2025. Trash Pickup Day is Scheduled for Thursdays Before 6am Unless a Holiday. All Bids Must Be Submitted on Company Letterhead and Shall Indicate the Monthly Cost Per Dwelling Unit and to Include Separately a Bid for Dumpsters (Approximately 40 Cubic Yard) for a Bi-annual Cleanup Day. The Successful Bidder Shall Also Provide to the Borough Free Collection of the Borough Disposal Cans Placed at the Borough Office. The Approximate Number of Dwelling Units in the Borough is 280. Payment Will Be Billed to Residents Through the Borough Office Quarterly. The Borough Will Be Billed Monthly or Quarterly by the Awarded Bidder at Their Discretion. Commercial Collection Shall Be Negotiated Separately Through Each Business. The Successful Bidder Must Provide the Borough With a Certificate of Insurance and Comply With Millerstown Borough Ordinance #92, Specifically, Section 14: No Spills or Discharge From Any Truck Will Be Permitted Within the Limits of the Borough or a Fine Will Be Assessed. A Copy This Ordinance May Be Obtained From the Borough Secretary. The Millerstown Borough Council Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. Bids May or May Not Be Awarded Upon Opening. Sealed Bids for the Letting of an Exclusive Contact for the Collection of Garbage and Refuse Originating Within the Millerstown Borough Will Be Publicly Opened, Read, and Possibly Awarded on at the Millerstown Borough Building at 44 North High Street, Millerstown, Pa.
